Where is India to be found?

"India is not to be found in its few cities but in the 700,000 villages…we have hardly ever paused to inquire if these folks get sufficient to eat and clothe themselves with.”

Does life have to be all that complicated?

My friend Steven has his MSN nick as "Life is complicated." While I acknowledge that life is complicated, does it have to be so? Can life not be simple? I suppose there is also then the need to define "simplicity" for it can be relative to each. Indeed, I think we can suppose that the only un-simple thing in life are those of which we have no control over. Those of which we have control over, can we not aim to pursue simplicity? Then again, is life "controllable?'

If you have any wise words on attaining simplicity, please do share with us, wise-man/woman.

The essence of evolution of democracy

Amidst Malaysia's current heated political situation, I think we ought to learn from Mahatma Gandhi's very wise words:

"Evolution of democracy is not possible if we are not prepared to hear the other side."

Malaysia, let us hear from all sides if we truly believe in democracy and want to advance it in our country.
