Hey Grace, you know what's retarding global warming? It's the global diming. Yah, I'm not joking! The fact that planes fly in the air disturbs the clouds, and cools down the temperature (I forget the details). Scientists were able to notice that because around Semptember 11 2001, planes stopped flying for a a few days, and just sendently, temperature went up by approximately 5C, and plateaued until planes started flying again. So Ieven though both are bad, if they happen toguether, they will cancel each other out, and we will have a near status quo in terms of temperature! - I wonder why the news always talk of global warming, but not global diming...

Wow Joliane...that's really new to me! I wonder why I haven't come across that in the newspaper or something! But yeah, good to know...see that is why I say there are benefits hanging around a science student :)
